Summer in your area

Posted by Evark - July 26th, 2010

What do you all do for summer where you're from. I've had a fun summer so far:

- Working 35-40 hour weeks approximately 9-5 M-F
- Spent much time at the beach
- Took a 9 day vacation to Nantucket
---> Where I biked 75+ miles
---> Saw a bunch of cool scenery
---> Kayaked across the harbor to an uninhabited wildlife refuge
- Met up with some NG regulars, including SevenSeize, Stafffighter, and aviewaskewed in Boston
- I do the gardening here at the house, and things that I've planted years ago are starting to take shape
- Drinking with friends
- Cookouts

I enjoy shagging your mum during the summer months.

My conception didn't take place in a womb... thanks for reminding me douche.

I always wind up moving in the summer. Moving to Florida now.
so far I've done:
-nothing
-visited family in NY for 3 weeks
-gone to florida for a week to find apartments
-packed

your summer is better

Damn, how long you spending in Florida (when's school get out)?

Usually nothing, just hang out around the house, and with friends when I get the chance. I'm going to be working once I graduate from college, I need to cherish my free time while I have it. Last summer I got a job though, which lasted about halfway through the school year, and it was nice to have a little extra money. Plus a Christmas bonus was nice.

Also, my family takes a 1-week vacation out-of-state. This year we went up to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, which was beautiful. We went up to the Corning Glass Museum, which was way more fun than I had expected. Some of the things people can do with glass is just amazing. We also took a 15-mile bike ride, not very much for avid bikers, I know, but it was a lot for my parents, considering they're both over 50.

That sounds cool. I have a big advantage in that my area is really conducive to awesome scenic bike rides. There's not tons of traffic, the roads are curvey and residential so people generally have to go slow, and there's lots of decent parks to tool around in.

I'm moving there full time for the next 4 years. 3 years for me to complete law school, and 4 years for my wife to complete PT. Probably staying there after that for a couple of years to get some work experience and then off someplace else. Probably going to head to NY during the summers to visit family. Luckily Plattsburgh has a commuter airline that flies to ft. lauderdale international airport.

That's awesome man. I hope you have fun down there and good luck with your school work. You've gotta come back up north though for the slopes.

I live near the beach so like twice a week I hit up the surf even though their arnt much waves at texas lol.

But yeah dude.
I've gone to San Antonio like 10 times so far this summer to go to Six flags and Sea world haha

Went to Houston with my brother to go clubbing. (one of the worst nights I will ever remember (got minor scar on my left leg from doing something stupid while under the influence of Acid))

And yeah other then that not much... Supposed to go back to California for a week next week actually.

Now onto other things! I'm attaching a message on here because your inbox is full apparently.

I didn't even think I was spamming for what you banned me for. I don't even remember what the topic was from which I got banned for but he seemed like a troll to me cause mostly what everyone else was talking bout was off subject D:

Damn the man.

Not asking to be unbanned i'm just saying that fucker was trolling.

And thats it for that part!

I don't get to do anything.

I've alienated everyone I know and I can't plan anything myself.

You don't need a plan to get out and do stuff. For the most part, you don't need other people either. As long as you're charismatic, that is.

Just go for a bike ride and see some sights.

Nothing of interest, sadly.

I live in the middle of the city, which is generally littered with... I don't want to sound like a dick, but the only word that properly describes them is "undesirables", and children.

There are also lots of angry rednecks that can't drive. I'm quite terrified to leave my house, to be honest. People here REALLY can't drive at all.

It's too damn dangerous and I'm too much of a wuss to enjoy summer.

Man, I can't force you to give up your silly excuses and go live life. But you should know that all of those excuses are really lame. Those 'undesireables' are just people, and you don't have to interact with them if you don't want to. Ignore, or tell them to fuck off. Who cares?

Fear of other drivers is also silly. You'll be fine or they'll be arrested and in jail.

Go live life, stop being so anxious.

JK, BRO, I BEEN GETTIN' DICK ALL SUMMER, YEAAAAAAH

pussy*

ROFLcakes

you forgot to Visit Denver and say hey to me and Jade

Somebody forgot to buy me tickets.

You're fucking awesome, bro.

So much so it hurts, sometimes.

I slept and went out. I didn't have as much work or money as I would of liked, so I didn't have much choice.

I typed out those first two comments just so I could make a cock joke in the last two.

That somehow makes me more sad of a person than the one I described.

I went to Washington DC!!!!

From Toronto, Canada, so that's a ten hour drive.

I did DC in the spring from Boston, MA... also a 10 hour drive (alone). I tell you what, though... the drive back with 2 hours added thanks to New Jersey traffic = fail.

I summered my way out of summer

Just wanted to remind you that your userpage banner is very pretty.

xoxo

Ah, thanks. I briefly changed it a while ago... but this one is just so classic. Probably won't change it until the site is redesigned.

I got a blow job from Jesus. I couldn't be happier.
