Comments? I didn't have the patience to make multiple attempts, so there're several stupid errors while I'm playing/singing/forgetting lyrics, etc. Also I'm pretty sure I raped the bridge.
Edit: used Audacity to remove the static. And it didn't fuck anything else up, sweet.

It was kind of obvious when you messed up, but you did it in one take, so I'd say you did a pretty great job.
Thanks man. Yea, a lot of times when I've been trying to record what I was practicing and that sorta shit happens (exiting the chorus and going into the last verse... I started on a down strike instead of an up and it messed up my timing) I'll immediately stop playing and swear into the microphone in different voices for fun.
Glad I didn't do that with this though, I really like how the end of the first chorus turned out.

Works fine, no idea what's wrong on your end.
My webcam works, it's just that the image quality is incredibly poor unless I'm willing to hook it up to something besides my desktop (drivers are only marginally compatible with Win 7 x64). Since I like recording what in the office 'cause I can close the door and it traps sound relatively well, I decided instead of dealing with the webcam I'd just record audio.
It's been so log since I heard that song... Fucking loved it. Great cover man. Made me remember another memorable Audioslave song.
Which one? I can PLAY Dandelion... but the strumming really fucks me up if I try to sing it (which I can also do well enough, separately). I am the Highway is another one that is relatively easy to play, but I've only just started so I haven't really done much with it yet.

Ha ha ha, best accolades ever. I don't recognize the Cross reference, but obviously Dylan is known. As for Cornell... I know several people who are of that opinion. My buddy can't stand anything he sings 'cause "it sounds like an old man singing." Perhaps he's an acquired taste.

I've been listening to it repeatedly... so while I'm glad that you hear some of the stuff as 'edge' I just hear it as 'off-pitch and terrible' now.
